Scollinare 2008 (selected works)
The Scollinare project, with more than 300 images, retraces winter landscapes in the hilly area close to Bologna. For this series I worked on a presentation that showed one stage of the research, the unfinished, rejecting the formal completeness of the single image. The installation refers to a phase in which the images are still scattered on the table, creating sets and subsets, coming together, dividing: inevitably one thinks of a book. Installed on the wall I display work “tables” in a reasoned phase, once the selection was already made. The images are posted with pins so that the photograph becomes a loose page from a non-existent book.
